Abstract

This research is done taking into consideration the importance of the development of communicative competence in the teaching and learning of English language teachers who teach the subject to students of the Bachelor in Law at the Ministry of the Interior (MININT ), who must be able to communicate in English with an English speaker in a situation of operational interest; as well as reading materials originally written in English and understand its contents. The aim of this work is theoretically support the communicative competence in language teaching and its importance in the study of English. The importance of research work lies in what it brings to the teaching of English in the Interior Ministry. The methods used were the analysis-synthesis and induction-deduction.
