Abstract
In this contribution we focus on the genesis and development of the summer colonies initiated by the Municipality of Bologna from the late 19th century onwards. The focus is on the renaissance of the Bolognese colonies after Second World War, with regard to the events of the colony of Miramare di Rimini, known as the Bolognese, between history and educational memory of a long-lasting pedagogical model.
