Abstract
This paper aims to explain the present knowledge about stroke burnished pottery and Carambolo ware pottery, both traditionally considered fossil directors of Tartessian Late Bronze Age. To do so, we will study both pottery typologies, paying special attention to their origins and their influence, as well as their geographical spread, their contexts and their sociocultural significance. Our final objective will be to define the main area of Tartessos, during Late Bronze Age and Early Iron Age, through its own pottery types.
