Abstract

This research examines the relationship of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) with other global actors. Specifically, it focuses on CELAC's interactions with key actors such as the European Union, and analyzes the impact of these relationships on geopolitics and international dynamics. This article aims to shed light on the nature and significance of the interaction between the EU and CELAC, exploring the underlying motivations, objectives and out-comes, also taking into account the global context and the formation of allies around the conflict in Ukraine. The study of these relations will provide a more complete vision of CELAC's participation in the global arena, providing valuable information for political decision-making and the construction of regional strategies for the benefit of the countries that make up the community.
