Abstract
Lo sviluppo dei cataloghi elettronici esige anche la catalogazione orientata all'esemplare, che registri e renda consultabili i dati sull'esemplare di interesse per il pubblico, legatura, stato di conservazione, possessori e provenienze. Questi ultimi sono di grande interesse ricostruire la storia degli esemplari e delle raccolte. Viene illustrato il trattamento delle provenienze in Unimarc, nel software SbnWeb, utilizzato nell'ambito del Servizio Bibliotecario Nazionale, e nell'opac Ligure CBL - Catalogo delle biblioteche liguri
