Abstract

Generally speaking music in classrooms from Grammar Schools lacks appropiate acoustic characteristics. Apart from lacking in acoustic isolotation with regard to outside, there are often internal deficiencies affecting oral and musical communication such as unsuitable reverberation times, lack of acoustic clearness. The aim of this research is to analyze the causes determining adequate acoustic conditions within music classrooms and suggestions loading these conditions to improvement. Nowdays there is a phisical as well as a pshychoacoustic knowledge that contributes to the improvement of the acoustic conditions of enclosures. Solutions generated for the acoustic improvement within music classrooms will imply a remarkable increase in the effectiveness of musical an oral communication within music didactics.
