Abstract

The L-shell X-ray production cross sections of 49In, 50Sn, 52Te, 55Cs, 57La, 59Pr, 60Nd and 62Sm for protons of energy between 2 and 6 MeV have been measured. From these measurements, the individual X-ray production cross sections for the Lalpha , Lbeta 1.3.4, Lbeta 2,15, Lgamma 1.5, LL gamma 2.3, Lgamma 4.4' and Ll lines, together with the cross section ratios Lalpha /Lbeta and Lalpha /Lgamma , are calculated and reported. The results are compared with the experimental data published by other authors and with the predictions of the ECPSSR theory.
