Wouldn't humor and laughter be one of the keys to happiness? Do our communication patterns differ when we address people with a higher functional position with humor?The use of humor requires trust in the other and the trust of the other, allowing for cohesion in the health care team. In practical terms, team cohesion is what makes a group of people have a "potential" greater than the sum of the "potentials" of each of the team members. Humor would be a kind of glue.What style of humour would be predominant in the operating room for operating room nurses (IBODE)?If humor is useful to facilitate relationships, if it is a pacifying, leveling instrument and favorable to a group dynamic, it can also be a critical weapon reinforcing hierarchies, stereotypes and even domination.
