Abstract

Biography is a form of historiographical research which poses numerous epistemological and poetical questions, but which also brings to light some of the relationships which the historian as an individual maintains in his quest of the past. A sort of dialectic of time is established which has a great deal to do with that fundamental contradiction of the human being, death.
