Abstract

Acromioclavicular arthropathy is a painful condition of the shoulder and the shoulder girdle under diagnosed in sports but determining a serious handicap. Early diagnosis can improve the functional prognosis by reducing the number of athletes who quit definitively the competition. The authors present a case of acromioclavicular arthropathy initially treated as pathology of the rotator cuff.
