Abstract

Luigi Breventani was the director of the Archiepiscopal Archives of Bologna between XIX and XX century. His personal archive includes fragments of medieval manuscripts, a collection that can be considered a reflection of his interest on manuscript sources. This article wants to analyze the relationship between Breventani’s palaeographic interest and his unpublished group of fragments
