Abstract

Abstract. - The temperate climatology is seen through the so-called «norvegian » school of thought, based on «frontology», in other words upon the study of disturbances. In spite of meteorological satellites pictures using, these already former methods remain strangely living, particularly in the french literature devoted to this speciality. However they strongly suffer of insufficiencies and ambiguities, essentially because they do not include the cause of phenomena, as far as they are deliberately ignorant of the motor of temperate disturbances. The purpose of this paper is, briefly and simply, to present the first factor of the evolution of weather and of the climatic determination of temperate zone, as is to say the Polar mobile Anticyclone.
