Abstract

A case of ventricular cysticercosis is reported in a 46 - year-old female who presented with intermittent increased intracranial pressure. MR imaging showed an enlargement of the left lateral ventricle and a small cystic lesion adhering to his lateral wall, and completely occluding the foramen of Monro .The lesion, which vas arising from the lateral wall of the frontal horn and passing through the foramen, was completely removed by a transcollossal approach. Histological examination showed a cysticercal cyst.
