Kurumsal ve İlişkisel Ekonomik Coğrafya Yaklaşımları ve İşlemselleştirilmesi (Institutional and Relational Economic Geography Approaches and Their Operationalization)

Abstract

Turkish Abstract: Bilimsel arastirmalarda bilimcinin guclu bir teorik arka plan bilgisine sahip olmasi olay ve olgularin anlamlandirilmasi ve de ongoru gelistirilmesi icin oldukca onemlidir. Ancak bu arka plan bilgisinin arastirmalara nasil tatbik edilecegi konusu ozellikle nitel arastirma tasarimiyla yurutulecek calismalar icin problematik hale gelebilmektedir. Gerek lisansustu derslerde yasanan bireysel deneyim gerekse lisansustu ogrenciler uzerindeki gozlemler boyle bir yargi gelistirilmesine ve bu arastirmanin motivasyon kaynagina dayanak olusturmustur. Bu motivasyondan hareketle bu arastirma, hem ekonomik cografya yazininda son yillarda gittikce artan bir sekilde kullanilan kurumsal ve iliskisel ekonomik cografya yaklasimlarinin icerigini genel hatlariyla tanitmayi hem de soz konusu kuramsal cercevelerin yapilacak arastirmalarda nasil tatbik edilebilecegini gostermeyi amaclamaktadir. English Abstract: The fact that the scientist has a strong theoretical background in scientific research is very important for understanding the events and phenomena and for developing the prediction. However, the issue of how to operationalize this background to research can become problematic, especially for studies to be carried out with qualitative research design. The individual experience of graduate courses, as well as the observations on the students of the graduate students, are based on the development of such a judgement and the motivation of this research. With this motivation, this research aims not only to introduce the contents of the institutional and relational economic geographical approaches which are increasingly used in economic geography literature in recent years, but also to show how the theoretical frameworks can be operationalised in the researches to be done.
