Abstract

In generally, there are two narrators and point of views in the studies of the novel in Turkey. These narrators and point of views are the third person narrator and the first person narrator and their point of views. Multiple point of view and observer point of view can be added to the list. However, western studies of the novel also include the second person narrator and its point of view and the writers tell their story with the second person narrator and its point of view. Some novels were written with the last one, such as La Modification by Michel Butor, The Thief and the Dogs by Naguib Mahfouz, Skoteinos Vardaris by Elena Huzuri and You are Wounted by Erdal Oz. One can find a few things concerning the second person narrator and its point of view in the studies of the fictional texts in Turkey. Therefore the aim of this study is to present and explain the second person narrator and its point of view in the fiction.
