In this way with hundreds of works created in religious, moral, social and literary fields a rich religious literature has been constituded in Arab, Iranian and Turkish literature. It is possible to see the traces of the spiritual and personal tendencies of authors and commentators in the evolution of this species, which has an important place in the moral development and literature of the Muslim nations. In our study, we disseminated the text of Kudsî’s Hüsnü’s-Sülûk fî Şâni’l-Mülûk. It consists of hadiths that emphasized that padishahs, sultans, governors, in short, the state officials/ administrators are elected people and the necessary respect should be shown to them. In our study, firstly the type forty hadith was introduced, the place of this genre in Turkish literature and studies of this type in Turkish literature were emphasized. Then Kudsî and his commentary text were introduced. After giving information about the commentary method used by Kudsî in the work, the translation of the text into today’s Turkish is presented in a transcription way.
