Abstract
The structure of 2,2,2,2-tetracarbonyl-1,1-dichloro-1-sila-2-ferracyclopentane was determined by X-ray diffraction. The iron atom has a distorted octahedral coordination, the five-membered ring chair conformation; FeSi 230.7(2) pm, FeC(7) 215.7(5) pm.
