Abstract

This study is a research based on on-site examination and observation of the spiritual counseling and guidance service offered in KYK student dormitories in the context of the activities of the Presidency of Religious Affairs for the youth. It is a field research aimed at revealing young people's perspectives on spiritual counseling and guidance activity, their need for spiritual counseling and guidance, and what kind of questions and problems young people come to consult a spiritual counselor. As a result of the findings obtained as a result of observations and interviews made in this context; • Students apply to the officials who provide spiritual counseling and guidance on issues such as problems related to belief, problems related to family and friends, problems caused by communication and media, psycho-social problems, education-training problems, personality problems, • Students feel relieved after consulting a spiritual advisor and sharing their problems, • With spiritual counseling activities, students can find answers to their religious questions and problems, • Spiritual counselors give positive guidance at the point of guidance in solving the problems that the students have experienced with their family or friends, • It has been determined that spiritual counseling activities contribute to the spiritual development of students.
