Abstract
The Koroška Bela alluvial fan deposits were investigated to determine the genesis of the fan and the source area of sediments. The alluvial fan is composed of a sequence of diamicton layers, and related subaeric sediments that were deposited by multiple mass flow events, in some cases certainly by debris flows. The predominant sources of sediments are tectonically deformed clastic and partly carbonate Carbonifferous and Permian rocks. In diamictons also pebbles of other rocks from the hinterland are present. These were eroded from the channel of Bela during the mass flow events. We estimate the future debris flow hazard along Bela stream as high.

Summary
Osnovne zna~ilnosti drobirskih tokov povzemamo po Predlogu slovenskega izrazoslovja pobo~nih premikanj (SKABERNE, 2001b). To so sile drobnozrnate osnove, ki s pomo~jo pornega tlaka vode, vzgona, velikih hitrosti tokov, trkov med zrni in turbulence, uspejo prena{ati tudi ve~je skalne bloke. Brez potrebne kohezije bi se kljub veliki koli~ini vode tok obna{al kot zrnski tok, za katerega je zna~ilno, da material te~e zaradi medzrnskih kontaktov in/ali trkov. V primeru obilnega dotoka vode v koheziven material je lahko dosežena kriti~na strižna trdnost materiala (meja židkosti) in plasti~ni tok preide v teko~inskega. Spremenljive so koli~ina trdne faze, zrnavostna in mineralna sestava ter od njih odvisne lastnosti zmesi, med katerimi je pomembna predvsem plasti~nost (PETKOV{EK A., 2002). Kljub vsemu je kraj nastanka drobirskega toka in ocena njegove magnitude izhodi{~e za modeliranje toka ter oceno dosega in tako možnih posledic v okolju, kar je sestavni del izdelave ocen nevarnosti in ogroženosti zaradi delovanja drobirskih tokov. Na tem podro~ju smo v Sloveniji pridobili prve izku{nje z modeliranjem in izdelavo ocen ogroženosti za primer drobirskega toka v Logu pod Mangartom (^ETINA et al, 2006) in v vasici Kose~ nad Kobaridom (MIKO{ et al, 2006)
