Abstract
The increasing population has been causing changes in and around urban areas. As a result of this situation, it is observed that the amount of heat and air pollution in cities is higher than in rural areas. Urban heat islands (UHI) are a factor that affects people's quality of life. Therefore, monitoring temperature changes and taking regional measures is necessary. 
 In this study, the Landsat 8 satellite was used to determine the UHI, and the Sentinel-5P satellite was used to determine carbon monoxide (CO) pollution between 2019-2021. The central districts of Konya have been selected as the study area. To determine UHI between the seasons, a total of 12 land surface temperature (LST) maps were generated. In addition, 36 CO maps of twelve months were created for the same region using the Sentinel-5P satellite. When the maps created were evaluated, it was concluded that there was a significant result between temperature and CO. It was found that the areas with higher ST also had higher levels of CO.
