Abstract
W artykule podjęto próbę teoretycznego ujęcia obcości w kontekście filozofii życia (Lebensphilosophie).Poczucie obcości jawi się jako konkretne, pierwotne doświadczenie życiowe.Dopiero wtórnie wynika z niej antagonizm kulturowy czy etniczny. W artykule proponujesię rozróżnienie kategorii obcości oraz inności. Tę pierwszą uznaje się za zradykalizowanąpostać inności. Obcość konstytuuje zabsolutyzowana różnica i myślenie dualistyczne.
