Abstract
Media Indonesia daily is one of prominent newspapers in Indonesia which has great impact to people, influencing perception and people’s knowledge about reality including conflict between Malaysia and Indonesia. Even like that, what was called as news was actually not fully reality. News is a form of re-constructions or was re-constructed by media workers especially journalists. By point of vantage, perspectives or any ideological concerns, media content can be perceived as “arena” which was used to shape and frame of any interests and ideological concerns. By doing qualitative approaches, this article, showed us that media covered several kind of discursive practices involving any perspectives and point of views. Therefore, it can’t be avoided for Media Indonesia not to take selection and salience toward conflict between Malaysia and Indonesia as reality.
