Abstract
holly Qur’an is the only holy book on earth that is awake, both pronunciation and its contents. Rashid Ridha once said that the only holy scriptures that are mutely mutually memorized and written are the holly qur’an. Allah SWT promise will always keep it until doomsday. One of the guarding of Allah SWT to the holly Qur'an is to glorify the memorizers. Apart from being the guardian of Muslims against the holy book, memorizing the holly Qur'an is the identity and needs of every Muslim. This is because the holly Qur'an is the way of life of every Muslim. Without the memorization of the Qur'an, one can never know what is commanded and forbidden by religion, his soul will never be filled with the spirit of religious teachings. Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: The one who does not have the recitation of the Qur'an is a bit like a rundown slum. Memorizing the Qur'an is good not only the pronunciation, but must be accompanied by understanding and practice. Key words: positive effect, memorize al-Qur'an
