Abstract

Discussions about human essence have also not been completed since the classical era until today or even at any time, it remains intereesting to be a topic of study in seminars, discussions and other scientific forums. Many of the experts, both on behalf of philosophers, scholars, scientists, and religionists from various scientific disciplines present a definition of human with a variety of characters. In the Qur'an itself, humans are expressed in different forms. At least there are a few words as a mention of humans. These words are: insan, ins, nas and unas. Thus it is very interesting to examine more deeply who this human figure really is. So that in this paper we will discuss human nature in the perspective of the Qur'an and Hadith.
