Abstract
Muara Gembong belongs to the Jakarta Bay area that is indicated to be contaminated with Pb metals from industrial, household and ship fuel spilling through the waters. Environmental pollution affects the people activities, especially those who related to the environment. Samples that have been obtained are then stored for further analysis at the Laboratory of Fisheries Resource Testing and Management Center Semarang using the Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry (AAS). The sampling station consists of 5 places, which represent the dock, mangrove, estuary, shallow sea and deep sea. The results of research conducted at the five sampling stations, obtained heavy metal content of Pb in water ranged from 0.023-0.038 ppm and ±0.0314 ppm, Pb metal in aquatic sediments 8,978-12,615 ppm and ±10,551 ppm, Pb value in green shells (Perna viridis) 0.117-0.141 ppm and ±0.129 ppm. The temperature measured ranged from 30-33°C, the pH from 7-8, salinity from 21-30 ppt and DO ranged from 4.40-5.27 mg / l. Bioconcentration factors for water at the five stations ranged from 3.4 to 5.3 ±4.1. The limit of consumption of shells in the water of Pantai Mekar ranges from 76-91 body weight/week. Chemical and physics parameters and the content of heavy metals in waters has a relationship, namely positive on the variable temperature, Pb in water, sediments, green shells and bioconcentration factors, while having a negative correlation on DO, pH and salinity variables the waters. Pb concenteration in Pantai Mekar is contaminated. Heavy metal content in sediments and green shells was still below the quality standard.
