The PAX Association under the leadership of Boleslaw Piasecki sought to create a party of Catholics on their political bases. These aspirations were based on the concept of “multi-outlook socialism”. These activities, especially in times of Wladyslaw Gomulka and Edward Gierek, met with firm counteractions of the state security organs.
