Abstract

The need for quality education and the acquisition of objective information is a prerequisite for the development of modern society. Recent changes in politics, economy, education, thinking, and language influence each individual’s mind, causing a deeper understanding of the human potential in the social environment, the people around us, and the world in general. Education goes hand in hand with public processes; therefore, in the main stages of education and further education, the requirement arises to change the operational objectives, emphasizing human autonomy, openness, and variability in susceptibility and formation. The increasing requirements for the professionalism of employees, academic skills, communication quality, language competence, loyalty, and responsibility, which are essential components of professional competence, stress coexistence, acceptance of diversity, tolerance, dialogue, and cooperation. When different cultures meet, it becomes necessary to solve communication problems and understand universal values, as well as various languages, cultures, and ways of communication. The data obtained in the empirical study show that insufficiently developed subject-specific communicative skills determine the communicative barrier in LSP language, motivation, inadequate stereotypes, specifics of communication culture, inability to set goals and achieve desired results, level of motivation, and inadequate self-assessment of acquired language skills.
