Abstract

This study aims to determine the competence of Islamic religious education teachers in carrying out Islamic religious learning and evaluating student learning outcomes at SMA Negeri 6 Makassar. The results of this study prove that Islamic religious education teachers are competent in preparing, conducting learning and evaluating student learning outcomes at SMA Negeri 6 Makassar. The competence of Islamic religious education teachers in carrying out learning in the classroom is in accordance with the applicable curriculum. Islamic religious education teachers found several obstacles in the implementation of the evaluation of student learning outcomes, but overall the evaluation of student learning outcomes was maximal, both in summative and formative, verbal and practical or psychomotor.
