Abstract
This article will be divided into two main parts. The first of them will present the issue of the concept of “national heritage” in the historical and legal aspect covering the period from 1917 to 2022. In this part, particular emphasis has been placed on interpretation doubts related to this concept and an attempt will be made to characterize it on the basis of applicable law. The second part of the article shows examples of how this duty was fulfilled by individual Presidents.
