Abstract

Since 2015 the combination of individual and group treatment within psychoanalytically based procedures is possible in both adult and child and adolescent psychotherapy. Neither theoretical specialist discourses nor research about the combination of individual and group therapy in child and adolescent psychotherapies have hitherto occurred for this age group. Therefore discussion threads of adult therapy regarding the combination of individual and group therapy will be illustrated to derive their theoretic meaning for child and adolescent therapy. Furthermore first experiences in the area of combined therapy in child and adolescent therapy will be described.
