Abstract

The article examines the history of the creation and activity of the Kolomna Machine-Building Plant in 1863-1900. Information is provided on the construction of bridges across large rivers, the production of railway wagons for various purposes, mainline freight, passenger and narrow-gauge steam locomotives, steamships, trams and other products of the enterprise. The contribution of the Kolomna Plant to the development of domestic railway and water transport is shown.
