Abstract

The article reveals the contribution of the Kolomna Machine-Building Plant to the development of domestic railway and water transport in 1900-1914. Authors analyze the data on the production of mainline freight, passenger and narrow-gauge steam locomotives, medium-speed piston engines, motor ships, trams and some other important products of the enterprise, attempt to show the role of the Kolomna Machine-Building Plant in the industrialization of the Russian Empire.
