Abstract
OZET There are many adverse effects associated with peginterferon alfa-2a (PEG-IFN α-2a) treatment. The most common side effects are flu-like disease, gastrointestinal distress, weight loss, and anemia. Here, we report the case of a patient with chronic hepatitis B who developed spooning (koilonychia) during PEG-IFN α-2a treatment in the absence of anemia.
