Abstract

As with ICTs today, firms are increasingly recognizing the importance of e-learning technology to train their staff and develop the necessary skills. It is therefore appropriate to consider the conditions for the success of e-learning in the organizational context, particularly from a knowledge transfer perspective. Drawing on knowledge transfer and organizational learning theories, and building on the results of an exploratory study, we propose a conceptual model that describes the determinants and consequences of e-learner satisfaction in terms of tacit knowledge transfer. An empirical investigation using the Partial Least Square (PLS) method was conducted to assess the theoretical model built.
