Abstract

Abstract The role of FDI in sustainable development is a long debated topic within scientists’ community. Mainly generated positive effects in terms of increasing the technological level of the economy are often offset by negative effects on the competitiveness of national firms. However, spillover and propagation effects, especially in terms of technological knowledge and know-how, enable the creation of robust innovativeness growth both horizontally and vertically. The paper aims to seek the evaluation of knowledge spillovers intensity's effects on economic activity in the host country.
