Abstract

This study examines whether the determinants of organizational innovation stem from the development of a knowledge sharing climate or the constituents of organizational demography in the context of knowledge management and organizational demography. To validate the proposed hypotheses, this study samples a total of 260 listed companies in Taiwan in tech, manufacturing and service industries. The number of effective questionnaires is 1970. The research finds a significant and positive correlation between a knowledge sharing climate and organizational innovation. However, heterogeneous components such as genders, educations, ages and tenures do no exhibit significant relations regarding the effect on organizational innovation. In conclusion, demographic constituents do not affect the significant and positive correlation between a knowledge sharing climate and organizational innovation.
