Abstract
To assess infertility knowledge, mainly on sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and their impact on fertility, among the downtown Detroit African American population seen in a general obstetrics & gynecology (OB/GYN) clinic (not involving any fertility clinics). This is a community that has been disproportionately impacted by Gonorrhea/Chlamydia (G/C), pelvic inflammatory disease, ectopic pregnancies, and tubal factor infertility.
