Abstract
Scabies has been a problem for humans since before the first millennium and was reported by the earliest writers who described mankind's health problem. Scabies is considered as one of major skin problem in children of developing countries like India. The major risk factors for scabies infection are immunocompromised children, poor hygiene, low socio economic status, and overcrowding. Scabies is usually transmitted from one person to another through close skin to skin contact.
