Abstract

The main objective of this study was to identify the knowledge of the farmers in organic farming techniques.The most important results were that 77% of the respondents were low or medium. About 8% of respondents with knowledge of these characteristics and precautions were low and medium knowledge, and that about 2% of the respondents had no knowledge of the advantages and precautions of the use of compost, and that 1.5% of the respondents And about 33% of the respondents did not have any knowledge of the advantages and precautions of the use of compost, and that about 5% of the respondents who had knowledge of these advantages and precautions were low and the average knowledge, and that about 6% of the respondents And about 53% of the respondents had no knowledge of the advantages and precautions of the use of green manure, and that about 47% of the respondents who had knowledge of these advantages and precautions were low or medium And about 5% of the respondents had no knowledge of the advantages and precautions of the use of biological control. About 12% of the respondents who had knowledge of these characteristics and precautions were low and the average knowledge, and that about 58% of the respondents had no knowledge of the advantages and precautions of nutrient use The results indicate that the independent variables combined account for 19.5% of the variation in the knowledge of the farmers concerned with organic farming techniques based on the value of R2.
