Abstract

This research examines the characteristics of knowledge-intensive business service projects based on two cases of Enterprise System implementations. The study results confirm that knowledge asymmetry, ambiguity, opaque quality and co-production are present in both cases. The results indicate knowledge asymmetry between the client and the consultant as the main implication, leading to ambiguity and opaque quality. Co-production is confirmed to reduce knowledge asymmetry, ambiguity and opaque quality.
