Abstract

There exists a particular body of knowledge in each organisation, that is shared by employees in performing every-day tasks and planning future activities. The body of knowledge can be visualised and controlled by means of special “tangible” computer aided model of the organisation. The model of the organisation can be interpreted also as a model of knowledge concerning the organisation. Implementation and maintenance of the model provide possibilities to analyse current knowledge distribution in the organisation, stimulate direct communications in sharing knowledge between employees and support individuals continuously with new knowledge with respect to their knowledge needs and organisation’s development activities.
