Abstract

The research was aimed at assessing the influence of knowledge conversion processes on organisational performance. The SECI framework was utilised to discuss knowledge conversion processes - Socialisation, Externalisation, Combination and Internalisation. The organisational performance was taken as comprising of operational excellence, client intimacy, product leadership and financial performance. The oil and gas industry is a major industry in the Middle East and an oil and gas company was considered for administering a structured questionnaire to test the influence of knowledge conversion processes on organisational performance. Data analysis proves the relationship of knowledge conversion processes on all factors of organisational performance.
