Abstract

The occupational health and safety risks associated with production tasks in the Dutch construction industry are defined in a standardised manner in order to promote the application of that knowledge in everyday practice. Exposure to physical workload, toxic substances, noise and vibration is inventoried and assessed; this is also done for the corresponding safety aspects. The relevant and feasible measures aimed at improving the working conditions are indicated for each construction task.
