Biosolids have benefits for soil and crop production and contribute to sustainable development. The use of biosolids in agriculture holds great potential for enhancing the economic development of rural communities. This research aims to analyze the mediating role of attitudes between knowledge and the intention to use biosolids as fertilizer. During the examination process 635 questionnaires were obtained, and statistical analysis was performed using Smart-PLS. In conclusion, it is emphasized in the need for positive attitudes towards the use of biosolids among agricultural managers, directors, technicians, and farmers. These results benefit the Dominican Republic's Ministry of Agriculture, agricultural professionals, and farmers. The Ministry can shape policies and offer education on biosolid use. Agricultural leaders should consider attitudes alongside knowledge.Farmers should stay informed and adopt biosolid practices for better crop productivity and soil health.
