Abstract

AbstractThis article aims to provide insights gained from teaching a subject on leadership and intrapersonal development in the university setting. A teacher reflects upon the how her previous working experience influenced the teaching of the subject and the development of professionalism in the university setting. It is concluded that a teacher has to first understand and know oneself and this self-awareness benefits student learning.
