Abstract

The results of investigations of KMM Auger transitions in atoms having 46 ⩽ Z ⩽ 84 are discussed. All experimental data were obtained by studying the spectra of electron irradiation accompanying the decay of radioactive nuclei. Comparison of the experimental data is made with existing calculations of the energies and intensities of KMM transitions. Requirements for an adequate theory of the intensities of these transitions are formulated.
