Abstract
Preliminary thermoluminescence (TL) properties of KMgF 3 :Ce with various dopant concentrations are presented. It is found that the TL response of KMgF 3 :Ce is ∼167 times higher than that of LiF:Mg,Ti. Its main glow peak is centred at about 160°C. The material has very good thermal stability, has no fading and has a linear TL response at very low doses.
