ABSTRACT
 In this study, an evaluation is made on the importance of myths and symbols which emerged as the most important haunt in the struggle for existence starting with the falling of man into a cultural playground, in terms of social communication. Culture creates a new reality ring for human beings apart from natural and physical reality. The communication of this reality takes place through myths and symbols in ancient times. Myths and symbols have existed as important archetypes in the ancient history of man. Humankind has tried to understand and explain the phenomena of the world he lives in through myths and symbols. Myths and symbols are effective in human life; At the same time, they are a binding force in the survival of social life. In the formation of a collective magic, they are interwined archetypes that have an important place in the past, present and future of man. First of all, these archetypes have fulfilled an important function regarding the social communication in terms of overcoming the uncertainties of the objects, processes and developments of the human and society. This operation; continues to exist in today's societies, albeit indirectly.
