Abstract

This study aims to describe the concepts of the Muslim family that originate from the story of the Prophet Ibrahim in the Al-Quran as the main standard of family resilience in the era of modern society. This research was conducted using a thematic analysis of Al-Quran verses through the Maudhui 'Tafsir method. This research is considered important because it seeks to explore and embellish the positive characters practiced by Prophet Ibrahim and retold through the Al-Quran, with the aim that everyone who has a Muslim predicate is able to emulate and apply them in the ethics of life. Prophet Ibrahim as a role model for all religions, became a concrete example for every family to instill positive morals. The results of this study indicate that the positive characters possessed by Prophet Ibrahim are classified as pre-family and post-family, with the results of the thematic analysis showing that there are at least 27 noble characters that must be held by the family as guidance and role model.
