Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to construct multiwave solutions for the (2 + 1)-dimensional nonlinear Schrodinger equation by utilizing the logarithmic transformation and symbolic computation with the ansatz function method. We used three different techniques, namely, three waves method, double exponential form and homoclinic breather approach. By selecting appropriate values of the parameter, 3d plots are drawn to obtained kinky breathers, W-shaped and multi-peak solitons. Furthermore we observed three different types of very interesting interactional phenomena between multi-peak solitons and multi-kink waves.
